The rhyming text flows so naturally that my toddler asks for it every single night, and we both learn something new about animal bonds each time. The sturdy board pages hold up well to little hands turning them again and again.
The animal-themed illustrations are vibrant and engaging, and the board book’s sturdy pages can handle my baby’s grabbing and drooling without tearing. I love that the rhyming text introduces different types of love, which sparks nice little conversations about feelings with my preschooler.
The rhymes are sweet and my toddler likes pointing at the animal pairs, but the text feels a little thin compared to other board books we own. Pages are sturdy enough for a one-year-old, though I wish there were a few more of them.
