My toddler loves pointing at the different women on each page, and I appreciate that the illustrations are bright and engaging without being overwhelming. The set covers a nice range of historical figures, making it a smart first introduction to real-life heroes.
The sturdy pages are perfect for tiny hands, and my daughter loves pointing out the different skin tones and hairstyles in the illustrations. Really nice to have a diverse set of real role models at this age.
My 3-year-old asks for the "girls book" every night now and the chunky board pages have survived her not-so-gentle flipping. The portraits are bold and colorful without being babyish, and I like that we get real names and stories instead of just faces.
