My toddler loves pointing at the bright red and blue shapes on each page, and the sturdy binding holds up to her grabbing. It's a fun little intro to art that feels more special than typical baby books.
The thick pages have held up to my son's enthusiastic turning, and each spread pairs a vibrant Basquiat piece with a clear color name. It's a beautiful way to introduce art history while teaching basic concepts, and I catch myself lingering on the pages as much as he does.
My toddler is obsessed with the bold, scribbly faces on every page, and I love that she's learning color names while looking at real Basquiat paintings. The board pages are thick enough to survive her chewing, which is saying something.
