My two-year-old demands the "Ruth" page every night now, and the bright illustrations keep her hooked even when she's squirmy. The board pages are thick enough that she hasn't torn one yet, which says a lot.
The illustrations are bright and engaging, and I love that each page highlights a real historical figure. My daughter is only 18 months but she loves pointing at the faces. A great way to start introducing diversity and strong role models early.
