The elephant-shaped outline makes this way more fun than a standard rectangle puzzle, and the safari animals are bright enough that my 7-year-old actually stayed focused to the end. 300 pieces felt just right for a rainy afternoon, not too easy but not frustrating either.
I picked this up for my niece's birthday and ended up doing half of it myself after she went to bed. The 300 pieces are sturdy enough that the safari animals didn't peel when we had to shift sections around, and the finished elephant silhouette looks great on her shelf.
The elephant-shaped border makes this way more fun than a standard rectangle puzzle, and my kid kept saying the finished thing looked like a decoration. Pieces are sturdy and the animal illustrations are bright, though I do wish the box showed the full shape a bit more clearly.
