Andy Warhol Andyland Kartonboek

My two-year-old actually sits still for this one, which says a lot. The pop art images paired with Warhol’s own quotes are a clever way to start talking about colors and ideas without feeling like a lesson.

The pages are nice and thick, so my toddler can turn them easily without ripping. I love that each spread pairs a bold pop art image with one of Warhol's actual quotes—it makes for a surprisingly fun conversation starter at bedtime.

I bought this for my 4-year-old and we've read it at bedtime nearly every night for two weeks. The Warhol quotes paired with the pop art images actually got her asking what "famous for fifteen minutes" means, which led to a whole conversation.
