The 48 pieces were just the right challenge for my six-year-old, and the finished 8 x 5.75" size fits perfectly on her nightstand. The penguin image is realistic enough that she keeps asking which one is the daddy.
Bought this as a stocking stuffer and ended up keeping it for my desk. The finished 8 x 5.75" size is perfect for a small shelf, and the penguin image is surprisingly detailed for so few pieces.
The 48 pieces went together in maybe ten minutes, which was perfect for my kid's short attention span. The finished 8 x 5.75" size fits right on a shelf next to her other animal puzzles, and the penguin image is actually detailed, not cartoonish.
