Quick Answer
Choose Frida Catlo if you want a paint can tin that doubles as storage and a gift; pick Tuna Turner for shiny foil details and a larger puzzle surface.
Why the Packaging Matters
The Frida Catlo puzzle comes in a paint can tin, which is reusable and easy to store. The Tuna Turner puzzle uses a matte-finish sturdy box, which is also gift-ready but less distinctive. If you plan to keep the puzzle assembled or store it long-term, the tin offers extra protection.
Puzzle Size and Experience
Tuna Turner offers a larger 14 x 14 inch finished puzzle, giving more space for younger hands to work. Frida Catlo is more compact at 12 x 12 inches, which might suit smaller tables or travel. Both are 100 pieces, so the challenge level is similar.
Trade-Offs at a Glance
- Frida Catlo Packaging: If you value a reusable tin that can store the puzzle or small treasures, Frida Catlo's paint can is the clear winner. Check if the tin's compact size fits your storage space.
- Tuna Turner Puzzle Size: If you prefer a larger puzzle surface for easier handling, Tuna Turner's 14 x 14 inch size beats Frida Catlo's 12 x 12 inch. Measure your table space to ensure the larger puzzle fits comfortably.
- Visual Appeal: If shiny, eye-catching details matter, Tuna Turner's foil embellishments add extra charm that Frida Catlo lacks. Consider your child's preference for sparkle versus a more classic art look.
